Biennial of the Americas Over the Years

Since 2010, the Biennial of the Americas has engaged tens of thousands of participants in roundtable workshops, groundbreaking symposia, artistic practice, and cultural exploration.

Established by Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper when he was Mayor of Denver, along with leaders in the arts and business in the city, the organization will host it’s fifth biennial festival in 2019, following the 2017, 2015, 2013 and 2010 editions.

The 2017 festival convened 300 speakers from 25 countries for explorations of the issues that consume us, and cultural activities celebrating the ties that unite us.
